Udupi: Civic officers impose fine for not wearing masks in public place

Udupi: The city municipality officials raided the main markets on Wednesday, July 1 as there is an increase in violation of COVID-19 rules.
The officials observed that many migrant workers were going to without wearing face work without wearing masks. The officials stopped them from going to work and warned them to wear face masks when they come out of their house.
The also officials imposed a fine of Rs 400 from 4 people for not wearing face masks.
Meanwhile, in Kundapur municipality, the officials have also taken action on people for fine for not wearing masks. They have filed cases on five people on Tuesday and charged them with Rs 500 fine. They have filed cases and charged 9 people with Rs. 800.
In Karkala, the police officials have also informed people to wear face masks in public places
