Udupi: CM BSY offers pooja in Karamballi on anti-cow slaughter law enactment

Udupi: Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa offered pooja at Karamballi’s Sri Venkataramana temple after the anti-cow slaughter law was passed by the governor.
Yediyurappa officially announced the law after performing poojas of the temple’s cow Lakshmi and calf Surabhi in front of the temple’s dhvajastambh.
He concluded the pooja after feeding fruits and grass to the cow and her calf.
Pejawara Swamiji, MLAs K Raghupathi Bhat, Vishweshwara Hegde Kageri, Kota Srinivas Poojary, MP Shobha Karandlaje, town council president Sumitra Nayak, Raghavendra Kini, Mattaru Ratnakara Hegde and others were present during the pooja.
