Udupi: DC bans all travel to and from district

Udupi: District Deputy Commissioner, G Jagadeesha, has declared a travel ban across the district.
No resident can leave the district and nobody from outside the district will be allowed to enter.
He added that the COVID-19 situation in the district has largely been brought under control, however, as an extra precautionary measure, this move is being undertaken.
He has requested the public to cooperate in the ban’s implementation.
Presently, three COVID-19 positive cases are admitted at isolation wards in the district and are reported to be recovering.
