Udupi: Deputy Commissioner G Jagadeesha has issued a clarification after a video of a man claiming to have achieved magnetic powers after vaccination has gone viral.
In the video, the man, from the PPC area in the town here, shows steel utensils sticking to his body. He states that had seen videos where people achieved magnetic power after vaccination, so he too got vaccinated a few days ago and has now achieved the power.
Soon after the video went viral, the man was taken to the district hospital at Ajjarkad and tested.
Jagadeesha later stated that the man was found to have magnetic symptoms on his forehead, shoulders, hips, back, stomach and elbows. However, vaccination does not give anyone magnetic energy.
He added that further tests are being done on the man to determine his exact condition.
