As the festive season approaches, Udupi DC has issued a stern warning against the production, sale, and use of high-decibel firecrackers to ensure public safety during celebrations.

In an official announcement, it was declared that the use of high-decibel fire-crackers is strictly prohibited, and individuals found violating this regulation will face appropriate legal action. Authorities have emphasized the importance of adhering to this ban to prevent accidents and protect the well-being of the community.

Moreover, as Diwali and other festivals draw near, officials have advised the public to prioritize safety measures. This includes the acquisition of fire extinguishers from licensed vendors to effectively address any potential fire hazards. It is crucial that consumers avoid using illegal or counterfeit fire extinguishers, which may not meet safety standards.

Additionally, parents and guardians are urged to exercise caution by not permitting children to handle firecrackers.
