Udupi DC turns Good Samaritan, rushes to aid of accident victims

Udupi: Udupi Deputy Commissioner G Jagadeesha rushed to the aid of accident victims by shifting him to a hospital in his vehicle here on Tuesday, March 17.

The DC, it is learnt, was headed towards Udupi when he spotted the accident victims. As locals were struggling to stop a car to get them admitted to a hospital, Jagadeesha stopped his car and directed his staff to take them to a hospital. He waited at the accident spot until his staff returned.

The mishap had taken place in front of Vidyaniketan group of educational institutions at Kaup following a head-on collision between two bikes. Both riders had sustained injuries.

Meanwhile this humanitarian gesture of the DC has been lauded by all.
