Udupi: DC warns of strict action on traffic rules violations

Udupi: Deputy Commissioner G Jagadeesha has instructed residents to follow traffic rules and warned that any violation will be dealt with strictly.
In a video message, he stated that due to no vehicular movement during lockdown there were no vehicle collisions. However, with the resumption of traffic on the roads, collisions have increased due to negligence on the part of the drivers and riders.
He also stated that at the beginning of the rainy season, all types of vehicles skid and crash due to grease and oil spilt on the road. Hence, it is the responsibility of the driver/rider to ensure caution while using their vehicle.
