Udupi: District panchayat president inspects SSLC exam arrangements

Udupi: Dinakar Babu, President of the District Panchayat visited the examination centres in the district and checked whether all arrangements were made in them as per the COVID-19 guidelines issued by the State government on the conduct of the SSLC examinations.
Babu instructed the Deputy Director of the Public Education Department to make sure that all heads of examination centres take necessary steps regarding sanitation, marking and cleanliness of the examination centres, especially toilets.
District Panchayat Vice-President Sheila K. Shetty, Agriculture and Handicrafts Standing Committee Chairman Sumith Shetty Kaudur, District Panchayat members Shashikant Padubidri, Geetanjali M Suvarna, Reshma Udaya Shetty, Seshayana Karinja, Deputy Directors of Public Education Department and officers of the Education Department officials were present during the inspection tours.
