Udupi district reports second Covid 19 fatality, 11 new cases

Udupi: District Deputy Commissioner G Jagadeesha on Friday informed that the swab results of a 54-year-old man who died on Thursday, while under home quarantine has been found positive for coronavirus. With this the Covid 19 fatality in the district rose to 2.

The deceased had arrived from Mumbai and had been placed under home quarantine as he did not display any symptoms during the check-up.

Meanwhile 11 new cases have been confirmed in the district taking tally of those infected to 1050 in the district.
