Udupi: Final verdict in Bhaskar Shetty murder case on June 8

Udupi: The final verdict in the murder of businessman Bhaskar Shetty will be delivered on June 8.

The Chief Judge of the district court JN Subrahmanya adjourned the date of the verdict to June 8 from May 31 due to the lockdown.

The judge ordered the accused in the case Rajeshwari Shetty and Raghavendra to be present on June 8. The other accused will be present through video conference.

The judge also ordered the district police to provide appropriate security to Bhaskar Shetty’s wife Rajeshwari Shetty in wake of the death threats.

One of the accused in the case, Srinivas Bhat, has already died.
