A fire erupted accidentally in an empty lot near the deputy commissioner’s office near Manipal on Sunday, January 14. The incident unfolded behind the Royal Embassy building, with no reported casualties.
A thick veil of smoke blanketed the surroundings for over an hour, creating an unsettling atmosphere among the individuals in the area.
Prompt response from the Udupi fire personnel proved effective, as they swiftly arrived at the scene and successfully extinguished the flames, averting potential damage.
