Udupi: Fishermen swim to safety after falling into sea

Five fishermen who fell into the sea after their boat hit a rock managed to swim to safety.
The crew members identified as Ranjesh, Lawrence, Madhava, Dharmaraj and another person took shelter on the rock near Kaup Par until another fishing boat brought them to Malpe port.
As per reports, the boat hit the rock after it developed a technical fault some 15 nautical miles from Kaup Lighthouse on Wednesday, July 27.
The boat was damaged in the mishap.
