Udupi: Geethanjali Silks, one of the largest retail stores in Coastal Karnataka, launched an extensive men’s apparel section today. The grand inauguration took place on the first floor of their store on Wednesday morning, October 9.

A unique feature of the event was that the customers themselves inaugurated the new section, recognizing their vital role in the company’s growth.

New men’s section features

The newly opened first-floor section features a wide variety of men’s wear, including both modern and traditional styles. The collection caters to weddings, formal office wear, casual attire, and suits. Popular domestic and international brands are available, alongside an array of innerwear. Customers can now find options that suit their preferences across categories like suiting and shirting.

The store already boasts a large third-floor section dedicated to women’s and children’s clothing, while the second floor houses an expansive collection of sarees.

Speaking on the occasion, Ramakrishna Wagle, one of the promoters, highlighted the store’s 40-year journey.

“With the support and blessings of our customers, Geethanjali Silks has been serving Udupi for four decades, growing year by year,” he said.

He further noted that the opening of the men’s section proves the store’s dedication to offering something for everyone.

“A dedicated collection for wedding attire has also been established,” he added.

A special collection for diverse tastes

What sets Geethanjali Silks apart is its focus on diverse cultural attire. The store offers a vast collection of clothing from various parts of India, along with imported items, giving customers an extensive selection. The well-organized parking facilities, including valet services, and an attached hotel provide a comfortable shopping experience, making it easier for customers to spend more time browsing the store’s offerings.

Other promoters of the store, Lakshman Wagle, Ramesh Wagle, and Harish Wagle, were also present at the event.

Expansive men’s section

The new men’s section spans over 15,000 square feet and features over 22 popular brands, including Allen Solly, Peter England, Levi’s, Black Berry, and Killer. Additionally, the section offers tailoring services and exclusive offers directly to customers.
