Udupi: Gopal Upadhyay, founder of Saligrama’s Mantapa Hotel, passes away

Kota: Gopal Upadhyay (84), founder of Saligrama’s famous Mantapa Hotel & Ice Cream, died at his home here on June 19 after a long illness.
He is survived by his wife, three sons and a daughter.
He founded the Mantap Hotel and Ice Cream in Saligrama 56 years ago which became a famous eatery throughout the State.
