Udupi: Hejamadi man dies of COVID-19 in Abu Dhabi

Padubidri: A 44-year-old man from Brahmasthana near Hejamadi, who has been working in Abu Dhabi for the past 8 years, died of COVID-19 on Sunday, May 24.
The man had tested negative twice at his place of employment. After the third test came positive, he was admitted to the state-owned Sheikh Khalifa Hospital in Abu Dhabi
His wife and daughter are in Pune.
As it is not permitted to bring the dead body back to India, friends and colleagues will be performing the funeral at Abu Dhabi on Tuesday, May 26.
