Udupi: A month after the row over wearing of ‘Hijab’ in the classroom, the six girl students from the Muslim community continue to protest at Government Women’s PU College.
Now, the other students of the college have approached additional deputy commissioner (ADC) and requested him to take immediate action.
The students claimed that there is no discrimination against the students in the college. Just because of the 6 six students, the future of over 600 students is at stake.
They further claimed that final exams are around the corner and the presence of police and media on the premises is affecting our studies.
The students urged the district administration to create a suitable environment for education in the institute.
