Udupi: Four girl students of Koni high school of Kundapur taluk have once again reaffirmed that there is no dearth of honest people in the world.

The students Shravya, Aishwarya J, Prasthuti and Vaishnavai found Rs 10,000 cash on the road. They however were not tempted to keep the money for themselves and handed it over to the head teacher of their school.

The money was returned to its rightful owner, Surekha on Thursday January 6 morning during the school assembly.

The head teacher recorded this and uploaded the same on social media. The students are being appreciated by the teachers and general public for their honesty.
