Udupi: Delegates from Japan arrive for Vishwa Gita Paryaya

Udupi: A distinguished delegation from Japan, headed by Rev Kosho Niwano, has arrived in Udupi as special guests upon the invitation of Sri Sugunendratheertha of Sri Puthige Matha.

The purpose of their visit is to participate in the Vishwa Gita Paryaya, the fourth Paryaya Mahotsava of Sri Sugunendra Theetha, a significant event in the cultural and spiritual calendar of the region.

The delegation, comprising seven members, was warmly welcomed upon their arrival at Mangaluru International Airport. Ranjan Kalkur, treasurer of the reception committee for Vishwa Gita Paraya, and Lakshmi Ranjan, coordinator of international activities at Sri Puthige Matha Dr A. Keshavraj, and A. Muralidhar extended a heartfelt reception.
