Malpe: In a gesture of goodwill, organizations in Kerala have offered free medical treatment to the two children of diver and social activist Eshwar Malpe. His children have been admitted to Maitri Multispeciality Hospital in Kozhikode for treatment.
Eshwar’s children, Karthik (23) and Brahmi (7), have been suffering from health issues that require treatment costing lakhs of rupees. Eshwar Malpe’s team had played a crucial role in recovering the body of Arjun, who had drowned during the landslide incident in Shirur. This act earned him immense respect in Kerala, leading organizations there to step forward and support his family.
The children are currently receiving treatment, and there is hope for their recovery. The Kerala-based organizations have assured that they will bear all the expenses. Eshwar expressed gratitude for the public support from Udupi and coastal Karnataka but mentioned that there has been no assistance from the government so far. He said that he is currently in Kerala to oversee his children’s treatment.
