Udupi: KSRTC and special trains added for Diwali travel surge

Udupi: In light of the Diwali season, KSRTC has arranged additional buses along the Bengaluru-Udupi route. This includes 2 Rajahamsa and 5 regular buses to Udupi, as well as 3 Rajahamsa, 2 Ashwamedha, and 4 regular buses to Kundapura.

These buses will also operate on return routes from Kundapura and Udupi to Bengaluru.

The Udupi Division Depot Manager has indicated that more buses will be added if needed.

Special train service for Diwali travelers

Kundapura: Due to high demand, special train services have been introduced between Bengaluru and the Udupi-Kundapura/Karwar regions, following requests by the Kundapura and Uttara Kannada Railway Committees.

This special train will depart from Karwar at 12 PM on November 3, reaching Kumta by 12:50 PM, Kundapura by 2:40 PM, and Udupi by 3:30 PM. It will travel through the Padil Bypass and arrive in Bengaluru by 4 AM on Monday.
