Udupi: Locals rescue deer fallen into canal

Thekkatte: A deer was rescued by local residents deer which had accidentally fallen into the Varahi canal around 8 am on May 16 at Mandadi village of Kundapur taluk.
Due to the fast-moving stream in the canal the deer was sinking when Harshit Kumar Shetty and Anup Shetty, the locals, rescued the deer.
The deer was safely left by them in a nearby forest.
