Udupi Man ends life in Tirthahalli lodge due to business setbacks

A man, distressed over financial losses in his business, was found dead by suicide in a private lodge in Tirthahalli on Friday, October 11.
The deceased has been identified as Prasanna Shetty (45), a resident of Udupi.
According to reports, Prasanna had rented a room at a lodge in Balebail, Tirthahalli, two days earlier. It is suspected that he took his own life due to the financial setbacks he faced in his business.
When Prasanna did not leave the room since Wednesday afternoon, the lodge staff grew suspicious. Upon opening the door on Friday morning, they discovered the tragic incident.
Local police arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation. A case has been registered at the Tirthahalli police station.
