Udupi: Man assaulted with knife, iron rod for questioning stone pelting at dog

Udupi: A man assaulted and abused his neighbour for allegedly stopping him from throwing stones at a dog in Netajinagar, Udupi.

According to a complaint filed by Vinu, a resident of Badagubettu, a man named Ganesh pelted stones at a dog while he was standing near his house at Netajinagar.

When questioned, Ganesh abused and assaulted Vinu with a knife and iron rod. Ganesh was accompanied by his friend Vijaya.  Vinu’s parents also got injured in the fight.

However, in a counter-complaint filed by Ganesh’s wife Asha, she said that Vinu along with another person  Manjunatha attacked her and Ganesh with iron rod and knife.

A case has been registered.
