Udupi: More than 100 houses sealed in Kaup taluk

Kaup: More than 100 houses with about 370 residents in them have been sealed down by the taluk administration here. The residents of the houses have recently returned from Maharashtra.
The residents of the houses will be undergoing the mandatory home quarantine.
These houses will be mainly monitored by those gram panchayats under whose limits the houses might be. Along with them the departments of police, health and revenue will be regularly monitoring.
The sealed houses are located in Katapadi, Kote, Innanje, Majoor, Kuthyar, Belapu, Shirva, Mudarangadi, Elluru, Palimaru, Hejamady, Padubidri, Tenka, Bada and Belle villages and a few in the Kaup town.
The residents of the houses cannot come out of the house whatsoever. All necessary food and other provisions will be supplied to them by the administration.
