Udupi: Mounting debt pushes auto driver to kill himself

Udupi: An auto-rickshaw driver reportedly ended his life at Shankarapura due to mounting debt.
Rajesh Devadiga of Mudarangady, hanged himself on the night of Wednesday, January 26 from the roof of a shed owned by his brother, reports said.
As per sources, the victim had raised several loans for building a house and other reasons. However, he was finding it difficult to repay the debt he had incurred. This drove the man to end his own life, sources added.
Based on a complaint by his wife, Shirva police have registered a case and are investigating.
