First COVID-19 fatality in Udupi?

Udupi: The swab test report of a deceased man who had been placed under institutional quarantine, having returned from Mumbai is expected by today evening.
If the result turns to be positive, this will be the first Covid-19 related casualty in the district.
The man who was quarantined at a centre in Kundapur had reportedly been shifted to a hospital after he complained of chest pain. He breathed his last in the hospital.
Following his death, the district health officials sent the deceased’s swab for testing.
