The second additional district and sessions court in Udupi on Saturday dismissed the bail petition of Praveen Chowgale, accused in the quadruple murder case in Udupi’s Nejar.

Chowgale, who is in judicial custody, had moved a bail petition through advocate KSN Rajesh on December 14. Public prosecutor Prakash Chandra Shetty had objected to the petition.

After hearing arguments from both sides, Judge Dinesh Hegde rejected the bail plea.
