Udupi: PM Modi calls former Municipality president Somashekar Bhat

Udupi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called Former Municipality president Somashekar Bhat to enquire about his health on Friday, April 24.
Modi called him on Friday morning and spoke to him for around 2 minutes.
“When Jana Sangha secured victory in Udupi for the first time in 1968, I was in Municipality and V S Acharya was the president then,” Bhat said.
In his conversation with Modi, Bhat remembered meeting PM in a Municipality members conference in Jaipur, events of going to prison at the time of emergency, and spending time with Modi.
