Udupi police arrest woman for providing financial assistance to Garuda gang members

Udupi: A 21-year-old woman from Uppinangady has been arrested on charges of providing financial assistance and shelter to members of the notorious Kapu Garuda Gang.
The arrested has been identified as Shafira, a resident of Karuvelu.
Dr. Arun K., the Superintendent of Police for Udupi District informed that Sajida was involved in providing both financial support and shelter to the members of the Garuda Gang. She is also accused of transferring money and providing mobile phones to the gang members.
Following her arrest, Sajida has been detained in the Mangaluru Central Jail.
It maybe recalled that recently members of the Garuda gang were involved in a road rage incident on the Udupi-Manipal highway,
