Udupi: Police seize vehicle carrying migrant workers

Udupi: Police here have seized a vehicle carrying migrant workers.

Police officials, on duty to enforce the lockdown, stopped the vehicle and learnt that the driver of the vehicle was taking the workers to Bagalkote district and had charged them double the amount of money for the travel.

The workers fled soon after alighting from the vehicle.

A case was registered against the driver for violating the lockdown.
