Udupi: Priority to be given to tourism, job creation and development, says DC

Padubidri: Deputy Commissioner G Jagadeesha has announced that in the coming days developmental and job creation works will be undertaken in the district.

Speaking after inaugurating a food court, kayaking and boating facility at the Blue Flag certified beach here he said that a floating restaurant and a hanging bridge too will come up along in the next two years.

“The pending works on the barrier wall will be completed. Roads will also be developed and a bridge will be constructed on the Kamini river. With the cooperation of the local residents, comprehensive development of the beach and the surrounding will be done,” the DC said.

After inaugurating the kayaking facility Jagadeesha also experienced the activity on the Kamini river.
