Udupi: Regional Transport Office to reopen on Apr 27

Udupi: The Regional Transport Office (RTO) here will reopen from Monday, April 27 with 44 per cent of the Office’s staff coming to duty.

Closed since the lockdown began, the Office accepted online payments for new vehicle registration and later the vehicle along with the receipt was to be brought to the Office for inspection.

The government had already extended the date to renew expired licenses till June 30.

Also, BS-4 vehicles sold before March 31 can be registered before April 30.
