Udupi: Regular private bus services in city from June 1, says Raghupati Bhat

Udupi: MLA from Udupi Raghupati Bhat said that private bus services from the city are scheduled to start from Monday, June 1.
Private bus services in the city had stopped plying since the beginning of the first lockdown in March.
The MLA spoke with private bus operators who then decided to start regular bus services in the city.
Initially, 25 buses will be operated and later increased according to the demand of the people. It was also decided that social distancing, wearing of masks, using sanitizer and sanitizing the bus will be mandatory.
