Udupi: RPF personnel help passenger recover bag left behind on train

Udupi: A passenger who accidentally left his luggage behind while deboarding a train received his belongings safely, thanks to the timely intervention of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) at Udupi Railway Station.

Sanath Devadiga, traveling on the Matsyagandha Express, forgot his bag while alighting at Byndoor station. Realizing the lapse, he immediately contacted the railway helpline at 139. Upon the train’s arrival at Udupi station, RPF officials located the bag and secured it.

The bag, containing valuables such as gold jewellery and two laptops – altogether worth Rs 4 lakh, was returned to Devadiga after proper verification. Expressing gratitude to the RPF team, Devadiga appreciated their prompt action in ensuring the safety of his belongings.
