Udupi: Scooter hits stationary bus, Rider critically injured

Udupi: A 60-year-old man sustained serious injuries after the scooter he was riding crashed into the rear of a stationary bus on Tuesday. The incident occurred near Nergi, close to Malpe Citizen Circle.

The injured has been identified as Lakshman, a resident of Gundibailu.

Lakshman was immediately admitted to a private hospital in Manipal. Social worker Eshwar Malpe and his team assisted in transporting the injured to the hospital. It is reported that Lakshman owns a workshop in Gundibailu.

The Malpe police arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation. The impact of the collision caused significant damage to the rear of the bus.
