Udupi: Spiritual leader Sri Ravi Shankar Guruji visits Sri Krishna Matha

Spiritual leader Sri Ravi Shankar Guruji, the founder of Art of Living Foundation, visited the revered Sri Krishna Matha on February 20 upon the invitation of Paryaya Seer Sri Sugunendra Theertha of the Sri Puthige Matha.

Upon his arrival, Sri Ravishankar Guruji received a darshan of Lord Sri Krishnain a pious sacred moment.

The arrival of Sri Ravishankar Guruji at Sri Krishna Math was met with a warm reception by Sri Sugunendra Theertha Sripada, along with scholars and officials who accorded a traditional Purnakumbha welcome.

During a meeting, Sri Ravishankar Guruji graciously accepted the honor of Shrimath and lauded the Bhagavad Gita Abhiyan led by Puthige Sripada, expressing heartfelt wishes for its global success. Paryaya Sripada fondly recalled their enduring bond and expressed hopes for more peace initiatives.

Following this, Sri Ravi Shankar Guruji visited the Geetha Mandir, where he performed Geethaarthi, a ritual symbolizing reverence for the sacred text.

Reflecting on the commendable spiritual efforts of Puthige Sripada, Sri Ravi Shankar Guruji praised his tireless endeavors to popularise the teachings of Bhagavad Gita both domestically and internationally. Emphasizing the importance of adhering to Yatidharma, Sri Ravi Shankar Guruji expressed confidence in the seamless continuation of initiatives such as the Koti Gita Lekhana Yajna.
