Udupi: Painting and renovation work in the Sri Krishna Matha here which had remained incomplete after the Paryayotsava held in January was completed during the lockdown.
During the Paryaya, only the Kanaka Gopura of the Sri Krishna Matha were painted. With time available now, it was possible to completely remove the older layers of paint and paint a fresh coat.
Eight people wearing masks and maintaining social distance worked for ten days and painted the Annabrahma Sabhangana.
Some of the bhojanashalas that were built during the first Paryaya of Sri Vishwapriya Sripadaru in 1988-89 have also been repaired.
