Udupi: Swarnalaya inaugurated at Sri Krishna Matha on eve of Akshaya Tritiya

Bhandarikeri seer Shri Vidyesh Theertha Sripada inaugurated a special ‘Swarnalaya’ for devotees eager to contribute gold for the construction of a golden chariot for Shri Krishna.
The inauguration took place in the presence of Shri Sugunendra Theertha Sripada of the Paryaya Sri Puthige Matha, marking the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya.
The shop was opened a day before Akshaya Tritiya in accordance with the wishes of Pujya Paryaya Sripada and the request of devotees. The initiative aims to facilitate devotees who wish to contribute towards the creation of a golden chariot for Sri Krishna, as envisioned by Paryaya Sripada.
Pujya Paryaya Sripada has urged devotees to utilize the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya to donate gold and seek the blessings of Sri Krishna. The golden Parthasarathi chariot, envisioned by Paryaya Sripada, holds significance as a symbol of devotion and reverence.
The event saw the presence of esteemed guests, including GST Commissioner Dr. Kumar Nayak and President of Udupi Jewelers Association Vasanth, who initiated the program by purchasing the first gold. Additionally, the younger seer of Sri Puthige Matha, Sri Sushrindra Theertha Sripada, graced the occasion and offered prayers.
