Udupi: Two sustain serious injuries in lightning strike

Udupi: Two persons sustained serious injuries after being struck by lightning at Parika near Parkala in the taluk on Friday, August 20.

The injured were reportedly walking alongside an open field when the mishap took place amid the heavy rainfall being witnessed in the region.

The injured are being treated at a private hospital in Manipal.
