The protest rally, which witnessed the participation of thousands of activists from various Hindu organizations, began its march from Jodukatte in Udupi and ended in the parking area of Sri Krishna Math.
Several women and students also fervently joined their voices to demand justice for the victims. The protest drew participation from numerous MLAs, including Sunil Kumar, Gururaj Gantihole, Yashpal Suvarna, and Kiran Kodgi.
Rashmi Samant, who gained attention through her tweets highlighting the incident, addressed the gathering and appealed for a swift and comprehensive investigation into the matter.
