The three Muslim students who have been accused of recording a video of their fellow female student in a college washroom here surrendered before the court through their lawyer.
The court heard their petition and granted conditional bail to the students. The students have been directed to attend the court hearings in the case without fail and cooperate in the inquiry procedure.
Judge Shyam Prakash of the first additional civil and JMFC court passed the judgment. Advocate Asadulla represented the three female students.
Meanwhile, the district BJP unit staged a massive protest here today demanding a comprehensive investigation into the case.
College granted relief
In the same case, Additional Court Judge Shyam Prakash also granted bail to the college administration of Netra Jyothi College. College director Rashmi appeared before the first additional civil and JMFC court on Friday.
