Udupi: Youth dies on spot, other injured in scooter-bus collision

A scooterist was killed on the spot while another sustained serious injuries after their vehicle hit a bus at Pandubettu on the Karavali-Malpe road here on Friday, January 26 evening.

It is gathered that the deceased and the injured worked at a restaurant in Manipal.

The mishap took place after the scooter rammed into a bus coming from the opposite direction.

The injured youth was shifted to a hospital.
