Belthangady: Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College Ujire has been awarded the ‘A++’ grade in cycle 4 of the assessment by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
A++ is the highest grade of accreditation given by NAAC on the eight grade ladder.
The grade was awarded to SDM College following an assessment by a team of assessors headed by the Vice Chancellor of Odisha’s Kalahandi University Professor Sanjay Kumar Satapathy recently.
The college’s rigorous academic curriculum, guest lectures, interaction with alumni, community-based extension activities, and research and teaching-related achievements of the faculty contributed to NAAC’s top ranking.
NAAC is an autonomous national accreditation body funded by University Grants Commission (UGC) that assesses and accredits Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in India. Institutions of higher education are assessed through a three-step process along a set of seven criteria.
