Amid the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine, a video of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy from a 2006 dance reality show has gone viral.
Zelenskyy displayed grit when the United States, earlier this week, offered to transport him to safety, stating “I need ammunition, not a ride.”
Now a compilation video of the president performing on the stage of Dancing with the Stars has gone insanely viral online. In the clip, Zelenskyy can be seen dazzling everyone with his dance routines on the show with partner Olena Shoptenko. Volodymyr can be seen grooving like a pro and his moves are winning the internet.
He was also declared the winner of the show in its debut season.
A Twitter user, Kat Abu shared the video on Twitter with a caption: “So, apparently Zelenskyy won the Ukrainian version of Dancing with the Stars in 2006 and the tape is even better than whatever you’re imagining.”

Here is how netizens reacted to the video:
The fact that the Ukrainian people elected this guy is glorious and tells me they might be crazy enough to pull this off. #StandWithUkriane

He can dance, he can act, he can lead a country, he can stand in defiance against Russian forces. Not only is he incredibly talented, but he’s also one of the most courageous leaders on the planet.
