Ullal: 58-yo killed, his son injured in car-scooter collision

Ullal: A 58-year-old man was killed and his son was seriously injured when the scooter they were riding on was knocked down by a car.

The incident occurred at Chembugudde near Thokottu on Saturday morning. The deceased has been identified as Abbas, a resident of Alekala.

Abbas, along with his son Naushad, were on their way to Deralakatte when the accident took place. Both the scooter riders were thrown onto the road and sustained serious injuries. Abbas died while being rushed to the hospital.

Meanwhile, Naushad has been admitted to a private hospital in Deralakatte.

Mangaluru South traffic police have registered a case in this regard.
