Ullal: Body of missing kindergarten teacher found in well; suicide suspected

Ullal: The mortal remains of a missing woman were found from a well belonging to the Ullal Community Health Centre here on Friday, August 12.

The deceased has been identified as Harinakshi (50), a kindergarten teacher and owner of Little Heart Kindergarten at Abbakka Circle in Ullal.

Her son’s had lodged a complaint with the Ullal police about her disappearance.

During the search, Harinakshi’s footwear was found near the well at the community health center on Friday afternoon. The body was found in the 30-feet deep well after a search by fire personnel and local swimmers. The body was later fished out of the well.

Police suspect the death to be a case of suicide. It is said that Harinakshi was suffering from depression.
