Ullal: An incident where a bus ran over a scooter rider who fell off after colliding with a truck occurred on Wednesday on the National Highway 66 near Ekkuru here.
The accident victim has been identified as Dhimant Rabindran, an optometrist at LensCart.com. He has been admitted to a private hospital and is said to be in a critical condition.
The accident occurred when the truck in front of Dhimant stopped suddenly leading to the collision. Dhimant was thrown off the scooter due to the impact and was run over by a bus coming from behind him.
