Ullal: Free training camp for Army aspirants inaugurated

Ullal: Former MLA Jayaram Shetty inaugurated a 22 day free training camp for candidates eligible for Army at the Someshwara Uchilla Bhovi school.

Speaking at the occassion he said that such training would enable youths of the district to join the Army and Central and State police forces.

District in-charge minister Kota Srinivas Poojary, said that such training camps should be conducted in each district to increase the skills required for the youth to join the Army.

Both of them praised the initiative undertaken by the Karavali Kalyan Parishat to proivde free training to Army aspirants. Adding that the number of army recruits from the district is low but proper guidance will help the youth in being selected for the armed forces.
