The lifeless body of a rickshaw tempo driver was discovered in a nearby well in the vicinity of Saint Sebastian’s Church in Thokkottu Olapete.
The deceased, identified as Nagesh (62) and a resident of Thokkottu’s Krishna Nagar had been working as a rickshaw tempo driver. Nagesh had a routine of parking his tempo in front of the church in Olapete. However, on a fateful Wednesday morning, Nagesh went missing, and efforts to contact him proved futile.
Nagesh’s family members, however, stumbled upon his mobile phone, cash, and slippers, but Nagesh was nowhere to be found. Local residents initiated a search and found the lifeless body of Nagesh submerged in a nearby well.
Firefighters promptly arrived at the scene, retrieving Nagesh’s body from the well. The body has since been sent for post-mortem examination to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
