Ullal: Schoolgirl killed, five injured in auto-pickup vehicle collision

In a tragic accident near Kallapade in Belma village, a schoolgirl was killed while four other students sustained injuries after a pickup vehicle collided with an auto rickshaw.
The deceased girl, Ayisha Wahiba (9), was a student at the Government Higher Primary School in Deralakatte and the daughter of Mohammed B. Monu and Munjiya.
The accident occurred when an auto rickshaw, transporting children to Deralakatte School, was struck by a pickup vehicle coming from the opposite direction at high speed and recklessly. Ayisha suffered severe injuries and unfortunately succumbed while being rushed to the hospital. Four students and the auto driver sustained minor injuries and are receiving treatment at Deralakatte Hospital.
Mangaluru South Traffic Police have registered a case regarding the incident.
